Worth the experience! Bring cash! Service is fast and it is entertaining and busy. Beignets are perfect! This is a walking distance to the gift shop (2 gift... shops) check out and buy their coffee mugs, they are cute!

My first time, bucket list thing for sure. The beignets were incredible the coffee amazing that female taking my order definitely needs some retraining, the... fried dough had more personality! The place was pretty empty and I'm impressed on how fresh everything was!

Café du Monde is definitely a must-visit for its history and atmosphere. The beignets and coffee are iconic, but to be honest, the taste was just okay for... me — not bad, but nothing mind-blowing. Prices felt a little high for what you get, but I still think it’s worth experiencing at least once for the history and vibe of New Orleans.

I visited Café du Monde at 8 a.m. and was lucky to find a free table right away. The place was already packed with people, and music was playing outside,... creating a truly special atmosphere. The coffee was excellent, and of course, the beignets were absolutely delicious — warm, fresh, and covered in powdered sugar. The menu is small, but that’s part of the charm — simple, focused, and unique. Everything feels authentic and full of local spirit. I really enjoyed my experience and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans.

Cafe Du Monde was super busy, but rightfully so! Even with the crowd, my friends and I found a table within minutes. Our server was incredibly helpful, even... recommending the best frozen coffee which did not disappoint. We had our coffee and beignets within minutes of sitting down, and they were absolutely delicious! The cash only policy made paying quick and easy. We’d definitely go back!
