Great experience for a tourist! Good food, good music, good service. The line was quite lengthy but moved fairly quickly. There’s a fork in the line where... it branches off into two sections. I wasn’t expecting that so be prepared! I think both offer the same services. One important note, you’ll need to use cash.

Yummy Yummy! It is worth the wait for this classic of New Orleans. No trip would be complete until you have powder all over yourself! There are multiple... lines, so be sure to keep an eye out for the quickest one. Also note that seating is VERY limited, so I recommend you have someone scout tables while another waits in line if you plan on eating at a table.

The Beignets at Cafe Du Monde are awesome. They are nice and hot as well as fresh fried dough with generous powdered sugar.... This iconic place is located in French Quarter opposite Jackson Square and is a must visit at least once while in New Orleans. My experience here was very good after being recommended by some locals I was at a conference with. At the time I was here it wasn’t too busy and we found a place to sit easily and didn’t have to wait long at all for anything.

What's not to love about French donuts and coffee? I LOVE their coffee. It's made with chicory. Husband wasn't a fan of the coffee. But I liked it so much I... bought a can to take home! My Uncle said they are 24 hours too. The lines are ling but go very fast. So don't let that detour you.

The cafe has awesome beignets. In fact they are the only snacks available there and the most revered in the town. There are around 6 different coffees... available. Expect around an hour of waiting in line if you want to dine in and pay by card. There is separate line for takeaway which is less than the dine-in line. SUPER TIP: There will be a separate line for pay by cash so carry some cash and pay at the door on the side. There were less than 10 people in line while the other line had a wait time of around a hour or more. It is best to buy at the side entrance by paying by cash and then enjoying the dishes at the nearby Washington Artillery Park Waterfront retreat, taking in the view of the city across the bank. They also have other products which can be used to make the dishes/coffee at home and can brought at the takeaway entrance or at other local nearby supermarkets. Location: The location is at walkable distance from Bourbon street and you can checkout the roadside art sales on the way. The clock tower next to the Artillery Park houses a small stall which sells tickets to a number of experiences that can be enjoyed in and around the city. Beware of the limited parking though, as it can cost around 25$ for 0-12 hours and 45$ for 12-24 hours, for parking in french quarter and that is if you can manage to find an empty parking spot.
