Cafe Du Monde was super busy, but rightfully so! Even with the crowd, my friends and I found a table within minutes. Our server was incredibly helpful, even... recommending the best frozen coffee which did not disappoint. We had our coffee and beignets within minutes of sitting down, and they were absolutely delicious! The cash only policy made paying quick and easy. We’d definitely go back!

The beignets were freshly made and excellent. The atmosphere was lively as expected anywhere in the French Quarter. The restrooms are okay. The wait is long... if you want to sit in. You definitely should not expect much in terms of table service. If you have less time on hand, the right side queue is for to go. The left side queue (close to the street) is for dine in.

Of course this is a 'must visit' location in New Orleans, so we went. We didn't realize it at first, but standing in the line by the street is for table... sitting while the line in the back is for take away. We got a table within about 10 minutes and had one order of beignets and a coffee to share. The mound of powdered sugar was huge. Enjoyed sharing both the beignets and the coffee and were very glad we took the time to go.

How exciting to come to New Orleans and stop in at Cafe Du Monde for coffee and beignets. I grew up with the cafe du monde yellow can in my household Upon... arrival we sat immediately and was served. Loved the cafe au lait. Delicious! The beignets were not so impressive but still delicious. I did have beignets 2 other places that were better. Sorry cafe du monde. I did order an iced coffee au lait to enjoy on the go. Prices were very reasonable. After we finished around 9:15 and walked out the line went down the block for dine in and another line down the block for take out. Glad we came when we did. Not a moment too soon. I suggest coming early if you can.

This place is iconic for a reason, they are marvelous. The beignets are amazing and the coffee is awesome, if you like chicory. The prices aren’t crazy but... you need cash no cards here. Awesome spot we enjoyed it, our waiter Robert was super.
