Our first time in New Orleans in over 30 years we went to Cafe Du Monde we had the coffee and Beignets for Breakfast. The Beignets was tasty the was good... also. We recommend this restaurant. Try it yourself.

Came here for the first time with the family. As a Vietnamese man growing up with a restaurant in Hawaii, I had no idea that the Vietnamese coffee I grew up... making and loving, originated from this shop. I’ve never bothered looking at the many coffee can ls that I grew up opening at the restaurant. It’s our first time in New Orleans so I found it pretty awesome to check this place out. The menu is super simple so don’t expect this place to be like other cafe shops. They only sell beignets and coffee and souvenirs so that’s what we got. The staff are friendly, not super talkative, just quick service. This place can get packed. No private parking, but many paid parking lots in the area. There was also a small group of guys playing amazing jazz music on the streets just outside the shop.

Located in the French Quarter, a stop at Café du Monde is essential for some sweet snacks. This iconic coffee stand is known for its beignets and chicory... coffee. Open 24 hours. The powdered sugar on the beignets might leave you a mess, but the flavors are worth it. These babies are a 10/10 and the people watching is A+

Delicious warm pillows of happiness. This location is always busy during the morning and seating is very limited but the takeout line moved very quickly and... swiftly for me despite the huge crowds so it’s surely something that they’re accustomed to. Just be aware that they’re cash only and they don’t have much of anything else except for beignets and coffee but to me it’s worth paying a visit cause I can’t help but to smile after eating one of these while enjoying a live band in the background.

The beignets were wonderful! The coffee (iced) was kinda mid. Cash only was a slight inconvenience, but the prices were fair. It was very busy but they moved... fast! There was some jazz street musicians on the side walk creating a very cool vibe. It is just across the street from Jackson Square. We took our food to go and ate them there which was much more quiet and peaceful. This was the only stop we made driving through New Orleans and felt like it was worth it.
